Third party account

Every judicial officer is obliged to have one or more third party accounts. This is a special bank account which must, at all times, reflect the amounts that he owes to third parties. The judicial officer is obliged by law to transfer the amounts owing to the third parties entitled thereto no later than WITHIN the MONTH of receipt. The third party account prevents the judicial officer from mixing up, or even unintentionally regarding the funds as his own. Another major advantage is that because of the way the money is reflected on the account, nobody but the lawful creditor can claim it, and it falls outside his estate.
